Driven by her desire to curate treatments that get to the root of the issue, Dr. Niemeyer is now offering Functional Medicine, which is another key to unlock the mystery of an issue that defies resolution. Dr Niemeyer has studied Chinese medicine which gives us a world of information about your health, and Functional medicine provides an even deeper perspective. Functional Medicine is all about using the technology of Western testing to find out what is going on with your body and identifying ways we can optimize your health.
What is the difference between acupuncture and FM?

What if I just need a simple Hormone blood test done? Do I need to sign up for the Functional Medicine SubscriptioN?
You don’t need a Full Functional Medicine Subscription for Dr. Niemeyer to read some simple lab tests, if you are a current Acupuncture patient. Tests with less than 6 markers, like standard hormone tests, can be ordered and reviewed without the commitment to the subscription. However, going forward we will be charging $50-200 to look over simple testing from an outside Dr. or simple testing ordered by our office.
